This agility circuit is a sort of obstacle course that is set up in the gymnasium. Students complete the circuit three times over the course of the year. They are given 2 chances each time, and we record the fasted time. At the end of the third time, students are able to see how their speed has improved.

We first spend a class discussing the rules of Rugby. Most of the students are not familiar with the game. We then move outside and put our knowledge of the game into action. We practice forming the scrum and throwing the ball, among other things. We are then able to play matches, and the students are graded on their attitude and participation.

Yoga classes have been my favorite classes to assist in this year. While I do not lead the classes, I stand in the front and participate in the practice and demonstrate the movements while the teacher walks around the room and calls out what to do. My former years as a dancer have helped me to be able to demonstrate the correct postures and complete the practice correctly.

We first have a class discussing the history and rules of badminton. We talk about the names of the equipment and the different kinds of serves. We then spend a few classes outside practicing and getting familiar with the sport before we eventually play singles and doubles matches.
